Advanced Manufacturing Madrid, one of Spain’s leading trade fairs in this sector, will bring together companies and professionals from fields such as automation, robotics, and industrial digitalization at IFEMA Madrid on November 4 and 5. The event will feature a program of talks and panel discussions addressing current challenges in advanced manufacturing.

GMV expert Javier Hidalgo will take part in a panel discussion titled “Cybersecurity: A Critical Factor in Automotive Manufacturing Processes” on November 4 at 1:00 p.m. The session will be moderated by Irene Díaz, deputy editor of AutoRevista, and will also include experts from EBRO Motors Group and Fujitsu.

The discussion will examine lessons learned from implementing cybersecurity systems in industrial processes and responding to potential cyberattacks. It will also explore how these systems can be integrated with production management, logistics, and maintenance; how collaboration with suppliers can extend protection throughout the value chain; and how artificial intelligence can help embed cybersecurity more effectively into IT/OT workflows at manufacturing plants.
