23rd edition of the Spanish Congress and 5th edition of the Ibero-American Congress on ITS

From March 28th to 30th, 2023, the 23rd edition of the Spanish Congress on Intelligent Transport Systems, ITS, («Congreso Español sobre Sistemas Inteligentes de Transporte») will take place in Seville, coinciding on this occasion with the V edition of the Ibero-American ITS Congress. For such a special edition like this, the Andalusian capital of Seville was found to be the right place to host the event, due to its vocation, historical ties, and tradition.

The thriving, even hectic, moment that the ITS are experiencing thanks to the impulse of the Next Generation funds of the EU, the next Spanish presidency of the EU in the Second Semester of 2023 and the great use of training activities and assistance to the concretion of projects that ITS Ibero-American is developing in the region, give the meeting at the end of March a unique opportunity to plan and promote activities and projects for the coming years.

This is the annual meeting where the most relevant key players from the Public Administration, Business and Academia meet in Spain to discuss the challenges for Transport and the Solutions provided by ITS. This year, as the two most important ITS events in Spain and Ibero America happen together, it is expected to exceed the figures reached in previous editions of more than 350 face-to-face attendees, 200 people attending online and 175 companies represented.

GMV will once again be present at this event, not only with its own counter, but also with communications carried out by our colleagues Rubén Herrero Andrés, Jaime Sanz Herrero and Pablo Rivas Salmón, project managers for GMV's Intelligent Transportation Systems sector, on ATM Barcelona; TMB; and EUSPA and DG MOVE panels respectively.
