8th Sustainable Mobility & Intelligent Transport Systems Conference

The 8th Sustainable Mobility & Intelligent Transport Systems Conference will take place on October 29–30, 2026, in Nicosia, Cyprus. The event will bring together public authorities, operators, companies, and industry experts to discuss key challenges and opportunities in sustainable mobility, public transportation, intelligent transportation systems, and the development of more connected cities.

Over two days, the program will cover topics including MaaS, mobility infrastructure, artificial intelligence in transportation, traffic management, smart cities, and emerging technologies for public transit.

GMV will have a dual role in the conference program. Together with Mastercard, the company will participate in the “Telematics Systems & New Payment Methods” workshop, focused on the evolution of telematics and payment solutions.

In addition, GMV’s Antonio Abascal Lagunas will take part in the roundtable discussion within the “National ITS Actions & Infrastructure in Cyprus” session, sharing GMV’s expertise in public transport telematics and its perspective on the technological developments shaping the future of these systems.
