GMV shares its public transportation expertise at Persontrafik

Persontrafik 2026, one of the leading events for the Nordic public transportation industry, took place from October 20 to 22. Operators, suppliers, public authorities, policymakers, and industry professionals gathered in Stockholm, Sweden, to advance public transportation and pave the way for a more sustainable future.

The three-day event featured both a trade exhibition and a program of talks highlighting industry solutions and trends, from vehicles and technology to safety, services, and sustainable mobility.

GMV had its own stand in the exhibition area, where it presented its intelligent transportation solutions. Its main areas of focus were ticketing and validation, onboard systems, operations control and management, and data analytics. The company also took part in the “Thematic Tours” initiative, giving attendees an opportunity to learn about its solutions firsthand.

GMV contributed to the program with a presentation titled “Next-Gen Mobility: GMV Transforms Public Transit in Westchester County, New York.” Iker Estebánez Mediavilla, International Business Development Manager for Intelligent Transportation Systems at GMV, discussed the company’s work on a technology project for the Bee-Line network in Westchester County, New York. He explained how an integrated, technology-driven approach can improve public transportation operations and enhance the passenger experience.
