GMV Participates in the “Eighth Sustainable Mobility & Intelligent Transport Systems Conference”

On October 29–30, the “8th Sustainable Mobility & Intelligent Transport Systems Conference” was held. This event brought together government agencies, operators, companies, and experts from the mobility sector to discuss challenges related to sustainable mobility, public transportation, intelligent transport systems, and the development of more connected cities.

The event took place in Nicosia, Cyprus, and featured an exhibition area and a program of conferences and panel discussions that addressed topics such as smart cities, artificial intelligence applied to transportation, and mobility as a service (MaaS), among others.

GMV participated in the conference with its own booth in the exhibition area, where it showcased its solutions for smart public transportation and mobility management. Notable among them was the implementation of ITS Suite in Cyprus—GMV’s solution that enables operators to comprehensively manage transportation services.

In addition, Rubén Herrero Andrés, head of GMV’s Intelligent Transportation Systems Project Management Office, and Iker Estébanez, director of International Business Development for Intelligent Transportation Systems at GMV, spoke at the session “National ITS Initiatives and Infrastructure in Cyprus.” At the event, they presented “Telematics Systems for Public Transportation: Expected Technological Developments,” a presentation in which they analyzed the progress of these systems and their future contribution to the mobility ecosystem.
