Onboard equipment

GMV offers a wide range of innovative onboard units (OBUs) adapted to the different requirements of our clients, in compliance with the automotive certifications (E-mark).

Following the market trends in terms of passenger and driver safety, the GMV model includes onboard computers that contain CCTV camera management, including real-time video and audio broadcast and recording.

In addition to CCTV, passenger information systems can also be integrated and managed.

Control center

The ITS Suite’s CAD/AVL control center consists of a series of integrated software applications that enable system configuration, service dispatching, real-time monitoring and decision making, management of all types of alerts, control of access/ticketing systems, as well as subsequent data analysis and reporting. The ITS Suite’s CAD/AVL can also be integrated with proprietary or third-party applications for the exchange of all types of data, supporting our clients in intermodal, multi-fleet, and multi-operator implementations.

With the rise of digitalization, passengers’ expectations for information on public transportation have grown exponentially. These expectations mean that transportation operators and authorities must provide accurate, integrated information through different channels such as in-vehicle or at-stop panels, journey planners, websites, and mobile applications.

GMV’s passenger information systems functionally offer a wide range of onboard options, both visual (text only or multimedia) and audio (multi-language, using synthesized voices).

Complementary systems

GMV offers several complementary systems to the CAD/AVL system, such as CCTV, eco-driving, traffic light priority, and passenger counting. These features can be integrated into multipurpose equipment to operate simultaneously, or each system can be provided separately according to the client’s needs.
