EUMETSAT 2026

EUMETSAT will hold its annual Meteorological Satellite Conference from September 21–25, 2026, in Darmstadt, Germany. The event will take place at the Darmstadtium Congress Center and will coincide with EUMETSAT’s 40th anniversary. GMV will participate as a Coffee/Tea Break Sponsor and will have its own exhibition space at the conference.

The conference will bring together representatives from space and meteorological agencies, the scientific community, and industry to discuss advances in weather satellites, weather forecasting, climate monitoring, and Earth observation technologies. Key topics will include Europe’s new-generation Meteosat Third Generation (MTG) and Metop-SG satellite systems.

The five-day program will feature presentations, technical sessions, workshops, poster sessions, and networking opportunities. As part of its sponsorship, GMV will have prominent visibility at the coffee break stations and in the session rooms on one dedicated day, in addition to its exhibition space, strengthening its presence at one of Europe’s key events for satellite meteorology.
