This year’s conference coincided with the 40th anniversary of EUMETSAT, the European organization responsible for operating meteorological satellites.The five-day program featured presentations, technical sessions, workshops, poster sessions, and networking activities. In addition to its exhibition space, GMV featured prominently in the coffee break and session areas on one of the conference days, further strengthening its presence at one of Europe’s landmark gatherings for satellite meteorology.GMV’s participation highlights the longstanding relationship between the two organizations. As one of EUMETSAT’s key technology partners, the company develops critical software for ground segment systems and meteorological satellite operations, including flight dynamics, mission control and planning, and data processing. This work spans programs such as Copernicus, Meteosat Third Generation (MTG), and Metop-SG.The conference brought together representatives from space agencies, the scientific community, and industry to share the latest developments in Earth observation, weather forecasting, and climate monitoring.
