Fruit Attraction

Fruit Attraction, organized by IFEMA MADRID and FEPEZ, is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year with a series of technical sessions covering a wide range of topics related to the fruit and vegetable sector.

Almudena Nieto de Castro, head of Business Development in GMV’s Industry Sector, will be participating in AMETIC's round-table discussion on “AI at the service of a sustainable agriculture sector” (Wednesday 4 October, 4:30 PM, Fruit Next Forum).

This session will address the digitalization of the entire agricultural chain, from farm to fork. We’ll learn how the integration of technologies such as IoT and AI is useful in improving management processes and using analytical models that help farmers and agro-food industries make decisions, as well as in using MES/MOM solutions that optimize production processes, moving them towards an Industry 4.0 focused on the end customer with the goal of making agriculture more environmentally sustainable.
