The forum, which was an essential part of the 2026 NATO Summit, brought together allied nations, partners, and industry leaders with the goal of strengthening NATO’s capabilities, driving technological innovation, and reinforcing the defence industrial base.The agenda for this year’s NSDIF included special private and public sessions, with the latter broadcast live. In addition, for the first time in its history, the forum announced national and multinational agreements, outcomes, and initiatives in areas such as space surveillance, air defence, and strike capabilities.GMV attended the meeting as part of the Spanish delegation accompanying Secretary of State for Defence Amparo Valcarce. By participating alongside representatives from the Ministry of Defence, GMV’s general manager Jesús B. Serrano reaffirmed the company’s commitment to developing cutting-edge technologies in areas such as space, multi-domain command and control, resilient navigation systems, secure communications, and cybersecurity—critical capabilities that contribute to a stronger, more interoperable, and more effective NATO.
