GMV and the Finnish company SSH Communications Security, inventors of the Secure Shell protocol, sign a partnership agreement. The agreement takes in the distribution and performance of joint services, boosting both companies’ cybersecurity range.

The technology multinational GMV and the Finnish company SSH Communications Security, a leading provider of enterprise cybersecurity solutions and inventors of the Secure Shell protocol, have signed a service-distribution collaboration agreement, boosting both companies’ cybersecurity range.

Encrypted communications preserve the confidentiality of their content. But they are a double-edged sword since they can also be turned to their own advantage by people who want to cloak their activities, exploiting the veil of invisibility provided by the encryption procedure.

SSH’s solutions provide visibility within the encryption sessions (SSH, RDP, SSL) and control user access, in the datacenter or in the cloud, reducing associated risk to the bare minimum.

Under this agreement, GMV consolidates its position in the cybersecurity world. In the words of Javier Zubieta, Cybersecurity Business Development Manager in GMV Secure e-Solutions, “today’s cyberthreats deploy the maximum level of technical complexity, so countermeasures need to be just as sophisticated to forestall and offset them.
