The Seeker UAS is integrated into the Spanish Armed Forces' Talos-Dual EIMOS ecosystem

The multinational technology company GMV and Aurea Avionics are integrating the Seeker UAS unmanned aerial system into the ecosystem comprising GMV's Talos command and control system and the Spanish Armed Forces' Dual-EIMOS mortar systems. The integration of the Seeker UAS will provide these systems with advanced unmanned surveillance capabilities and support for advanced indirect fire correction.

The Seeker UAS, designed and manufactured in Spain by Aurea Avionics and supplied by GMV, will therefore be integrated into an already operational architecture based on Talos and Dual-EIMOS. Deliveries will made throughout 2026 and 2027 and will include unmanned aerial vehicles, ground control systems, and training for Spanish Armed Forces personnel.

The Seeker UAS is a tactical, rapid-deployment unmanned aerial system that provides intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities. Weighing 3.6 kg and offering more than two hours of battery life, it combines a dual EO/IR payload with autonomous target tracking and native integration into the fire control chain.

The integration of the Seeker allows the UAS to be incorporated into the fire support architecture as an “aerial sensor.” This architecture is built around Talos, GMV's fire support command and control system, which provides advanced, distributed, and interoperable management for indirect fire support. Accordingly, the data collected by Seeker will be shared with and utilized by the Dual-EIMOS mortar systems.

The integration of Seeker into the Talos and Dual-EIMOS ecosystem represents a step forward in connecting sensors, effectors, and command-and-control systems by enabling a more agile exchange of information and more effective coordination among the various elements of the system. 

The program brings together national technological capabilities by combining Aurea Avionics’ Seeker UAS—designed and manufactured entirely in Spain—with GMV’s TALOS fire support system and the DUAL EIMOS mortar. 

This domestic capability will enable the development and integration of new features and their adaptation to changing operational requirements, while minimizing dependence on critical foreign suppliers.
