Activities took place at the Army Museum, the Infantry Academy, and the “Los Alijares” Training Camp and Firing Range, with discussions focusing on emerging operational environments, technological adaptation, and the integration of capabilities for modern warfare.Organized by the Spanish Army through the Army Logistics Support Command (MALE), the forum was opened by Chief of Staff of the Spanish Army Amador Enseñat y Berea and Secretary of State for Defence María Amparo Valcarce.GMV had its own stand in the exhibition area, where it showcased solutions for multidomain command and control, resilient navigation, and vehicle and combat systems. Among the technologies on display was ARGUS, GMV’s command and control system for the coordinated management of unmanned platforms, a key capability for addressing the challenges posed by the increasing use of robotic systems on the battlefield.José Luis Delgado, Director of Land Programs at GMV Defence and Security, also took part in the “Counter-drone/C-UAS” panel discussion on October 1. He examined the technological challenges involved in the coordinated operation of autonomous platforms on the battlefield in a degraded electromagnetic environment, as well as GMV’s proposed solution for integrating sensors and effectors from different domains into a command and control system. The 2E+I Forum once again brought together military authorities, industry representatives, and researchers, reinforcing its position as a key forum for technology exchange between the defence sector, industry, and academia.
