GMV showcases the potential of AI-powered ultrasound guidance at SEMES 2026

GMV took part at the 36th National Congress of the Spanish Society of Emergency Medicine (SEMES), held in San Sebastián. The event brought together thousands of healthcare professionals to discuss the challenges currently facing emergency and urgent care services, including growing demand for care, the need to optimize resources, and the integration of new technologies into clinical practice.

Against this backdrop, GMV featured an exhibition space within the event’s technology innovation area, where it conducted demonstrations of u-Steer, its artificial intelligence-based ultrasound guidance solution.

The technology assists healthcare professionals with ultrasound imaging by providing real-time visual guidance to facilitate optimal probe positioning and movement. Thanks to this support, diagnostic-quality images can be obtained more quickly and consistently, reducing reliance on the operator’s prior experience.

Throughout SEMES 2026, attendees had the chance to see firsthand the capabilities of a solution specifically designed for environments where access to specialists is limited or where time is a critical factor, such as emergency departments, emergency medical services, pre-hospital care settings, and crisis response scenarios.
