Details
XXXIII Jornadas Nacionales de Innovación y Salud en Andalucía

From October 21 to 23, GMV will be a sponsor of the 33rd National Conference on Innovation and Health in Andalusia, organized by the Spanish Health Informatics Society (SEIS) in Torremolinos, Málaga.

Under the theme “Meaningful Connections, Complex Decisions,” this year’s conference will focus on how to move toward more accurate, better-connected data within health information systems, as well as the opportunities and risks of using algorithms to link and leverage the information available.

As part of the program, Juan Carlos Sánchez Rosado, Health Business Executive at GMV, will take part in the session “Algorithmovigilance Against Iatrogenesis” on October 21 at 6:00 p.m., alongside Pol Pérez i Sust, Director of Information Systems at the Catalan Health Service (CatSalut).

The session will address one of the major challenges of bringing artificial intelligence into clinical settings: the need for ongoing oversight mechanisms. Speakers will discuss how algorithmovigilance, supported by AI model governance and monitoring tools, can help identify risks, detect drift, assess its clinical impact, and prevent potential harm in patient care.
