The event also presented the Spanish branch of the European Quantum Industry Consortium (QuIC). GMV is a member of this consortium, which seeks to strengthen cooperation between the various players in Europe’s quantum ecosystem.GMV’s participation in Q-EXPO 2026 underscores the company’s commitment to the development of applied quantum technologies and strategic technological capabilities in areas such as quantum computing, secure communications, and post-quantum cybersecurity.During its presentation, GMV shared its vision of the need to promote technology transfer and accelerate the industrial adoption of these capabilities, drawing on its own initiatives and developments such as QuKee, GMV’s quantum-key management solution designed for QKD (Quantum Key Distribution) networks. The platform enables centralized management of complex quantum key distribution environments, ensuring interoperability, scalability, and integration with post-quantum cryptographic infrastructure.GMV is also known for its involvement in strategic projects such as Q-MIND (QUantum MAdrid for Innovation and New Developments), an initiative led by GMV and backed by the Madrid regional government to accelerate the development and application of quantum technologies in real-world settings. The project integrates quantum computing, quantum communications, and post-quantum cybersecurity capabilities with the goal of strengthening the regional innovation ecosystem and contributing to Madrid’s positioning as an international leader in quantum technologies.Q-MIND is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) as part of the Madrid region’s ERDF operational program for the 2021–2027 period.
