Cyber Resilience Awareness Day Virtual Summit 2026

On October 14, Mariano J. Benito, Cybersecurity & Privacy Ambassador at GMV, will take part in the 3rd Annual Cyber Resilience Awareness Day, organized by the ISSA Cyber Resilience Special Interest Group.

Under the theme “Quantifying Cyber Resilience Readiness,” the event will explore how organizations can assess their capabilities, identify gaps, and strengthen their resilience over time. The program will bring together practical perspectives on people, processes, and technology, covering topics such as maturity-based recovery, threat-informed defense, zero trust, architectural dependencies, and decision-making during disruptions.

Benito’s presentation, “Improving Corporate Cyber Resilience Through NIS2’s All-Hazards Risk Strategy,” will examine how risk management can be integrated into corporate resilience strategies.

The event will also address the use of maturity models and a common language for cyber resilience, with the Cyber Resilience Capability Maturity Model (CR-CMM) serving as a framework for benchmarking capabilities, aligning teams, and communicating progress.
