From 4 to 6 June, the city of Belfast will be hosting a new edition of the In Orbit Servicing, Assembly & Manufacturing Conference (ISAM), a key international event for additive manufacturing and advanced engineering. This conference, organized by the British Space Agency in collaboration with Satellite Applications Catapult, has established itself as a leading platform for academics, researchers, engineers, and industry representatives, who meet to discuss and share the latest breakthroughs, challenges, and applications of Additive Manufacturing (AM).

With the theme of “Scaling Impact: Additive Manufacturing for a Sustainable Future,” this edition will focus on how AM is transforming key sectors such as aerospace, automotive, healthcare, energy, and construction, with more efficient, customizable, and sustainable solutions.

Over three days, participants will explore key topics through a wide range of sessions and panel discussions, addressing critical issues such as technology, regulation, skills, and safety in the field of in-orbit services. The event will also provide opportunities for networking and collaboration among the different players in the space sector.

GMV will have a stand at this edition and will participate in several presentations, sharing its experience and groundbreaking solutions in orbital services, assembly, and space manufacturing. Its participation reinforces the company’s commitment to the advancement of the space industry and international collaboration in this emerging field.
