“Cooperation as key to the success of the Spanish National Healthy System” will be the main theme of the 26th National Health IT Conference (Inforsalud 2024), taking place on 12, 13 and 14 March in Madrid. GMV is participating in its science program, and will be explaining the role of pharmacogenetics in the application of personalized medicine and sharing its experience with projects in this field.

As published in The Lancet, adverse drug reactions could be reduced by 28% if prescriptions are based on biomarker analysis. In one out of every three cases, variability in drug responses is due to the presence of genetic variants.

 To understand how technology can help improve health results through the use of pharmacogenetics, Adrián Rodrigo, GMV’s business manager for digital health, will present a specific use case in Technology Session 5, moderated by José Manuel Alcaraz, deputy director of information technology at the Murcia Health Service.
