Defence and disaster response logistics

GMV will be taking part in “Defence and Disaster Response Logistics”, an event organized by the Spanish Logistics Center (CEL) that brings together professionals and experts to discuss the logistical challenges associated with military operations, emergency situations, and disaster response.

Miguel Hormigo, GMV’s Industry Sector Manager, will represent the company and deliver a talk entitled “Autonomous Mobile Robotics: Mobility, Supply, and Information in Degraded Environments” (10:05 AM), which will explore the potential of autonomous mobile robotics to enhance logistics capabilities in complex scenarios. During his presentation, he will demonstrate how these technologies can improve mobility, optimize resource supply, and support information gathering in environments with limited infrastructure or adverse operating conditions.

GMV’s involvement in the event highlights the importance of technological innovation and automation in strengthening the resilience and efficiency of logistics operations in critical situations.
