GMV showcases automation and robotics solutions at Wine Innovation Week

GMV actively participated in the Wine Innovation Week, a leading event organized by the INNOVI wine industry cluster, which focuses on fostering technological innovation in products and services for the wine sector. This event, bringing together key players from the agri-food ecosystem, served as a platform to present cutting-edge solutions aimed at enhancing the competitiveness and sustainability of the industry.
During a session dedicated to innovation demos, Javier García, Business Development Manager, and Ángel C. Lázaro, Head of Robotics and Automation for the Industrial Sector at GMV, introduced the company’s technological offering, centered on industrial process automation and the integration of collaborative and autonomous robotics. The two experts shared GMV’s extensive experience in advanced automation projects within the agri-food sector, emphasizing the significant impact of these technologies on operational efficiency, traceability, and process flexibility.
In particular, they highlighted the uPathWay solution—an advanced platform developed by GMV for the centralized, scalable, and agnostic management of mobile robots and autonomous vehicles in industrial environments. This platform enables the orchestration of heterogeneous fleets of robots across the entire agri-food value chain, from primary production to final distribution. uPathWay is positioned as a key solution to enable the wine industry to operate more intelligently, adaptively, and sustainably, with the capability for continuous, uninterrupted operations.
Through its participation in Wine Innovation Week, GMV reinforces its commitment to the digital transformation of the agri-food sector, promoting the integration of advanced technologies that deliver tangible, measurable value to traditional industries.
