This gathering will take place from February 4th to 6th at the Royal Randwick Ballroom in Sydney, organized by the PNT subcommittee of the Australian Institute of Navigation (AIN). The conference will bring together experts from industry, defense, universities, and government agencies, to discuss the most relevant challenges and advances in this strategic field. The program for this three-day event has been designed to address key issues such as the vulnerability and resilience of global navigation satellite systems (GNSS), mitigation of interferences and threats, alternative PNT solutions, sensor fusion, augmentation methods such as satellite-based augmentation systems (SBAS), and emerging challenges for cybersecurity applied to PNT systems. The event will also feature analysis of critical aviation and maritime applications, as well as applications for autonomous systems.GMV will be playing a leading role at the event with several technical presentations. During the session on GNSS Threats & Resilience, Antonio González Carvajal, a GNSS engineer at GMV, will be giving a presentation entitled “AI‑Enhanced Detection, Localization, and Vulnerability Assessment of Jamming and Spoofing for Safety-Critical Users”, and during the session on SBAS Technologies, Inés Fandos Duce will give a presentation entitled “Precise Point Positioning (PPP) via SouthPAN: Current Capabilities and Future Prospects”. In addition, José Caro, GMV’s Manager of Augmentation Systems and Services for Satellite Navigation Systems, will be giving two presentations, entitled “Evaluating SouthPAN Performance 2022‑2025” and “DFMC SBAS Resiliency: Dual-Frequency Service Advantages During 2024 Ionospheric Storms”.In addition to the technical sessions, the PNT2026 Conference will offer networking spaces and social activities to encourage sharing of knowledge and international collaborations.
