GMV will be taking part in the 9th European Conference on Orbital Debris, an event organized by ESA. The meeting will be held in Bonn, Germany, from April 1 to 4.

This event is the main international forum on in-orbit fragment management, bringing together experts to discuss:

• Measurement: Technologies to detect and track space fragments.

• Modeling: Simulation and analysis of the orbital environment.

• Technology and Operations: Methods for mitigation, active removal, and design of safe satellites.

• Missions: Projects focused on on-orbit fragment management and re-entry safety.

• Policy: International regulations, sustainability, and ethics in the use of space.

Since 1957, space activity has generated more than 36,000 tracked objects and millions of smaller fragments that represent a critical hazard. The conference seeks comprehensive solutions, combining mitigation and active removal.
