1st Cybersecurity Week at Alfonso X University

Alfonso X University (UAX) will be holding its 1st Cybersecurity Week from February 20‑28. Through a series of engaging online presentations, speakers from leading companies will be sharing their knowledge and experience in the field of cybersecurity with students.

GMV will be represented during this UAX event by its Head of Forensic and Threat Intelligence, Juan Ramón Gutiérrez, who will be giving a talk entitled “Cyber Intelligence as a Tactical Advantage Against an Adversary”. “Intelligence is the first link in the chain of defense against the sophisticated cyberattacks we must now confront. It is a way to gain advantages by applying everything we know about an adversary’s behavior and attack techniques, so that we can prepare ourselves and improve our monitoring and response systems.”
