GMV displays the new version of radiance in the ESTRO Turin

GMV ha asistido a uno de los eventos con mayor reputación internacional en aspectos de la oncología de radiación y el tratamiento multidisciplinario del cáncer, el ESTRO 35.

Del 29 de Abril al 3 de Mayo, la sociedad interdisciplinaria ESTRO (European Society for Radiotherapy & Oncology) ha organizado un evento en Turín (Italia) donde los oncólogos de radiación, físicos médicos, biólogos y radioterapeutas han unido sus fuerzas con otras organizaciones en el campo de la oncología.

Carlos Illana, radiance Product Manager de GMV, mostró a los asistentes del evento la nueva versión del simulador radiance (v3). La crítica de los expertos fue muy positiva respecto a los avances realizados por GMV en su simulador de radioterapia intraoperatoria, gran parte de los físicos médicos presentes manifestaron lo necesario y ventajoso que actualmente resulta la planificación con radiance.

En ESTRO 35 se ha podido comprobar la colaboración de las organizaciones con otros especialistas en la materia, para involucrarse en el tratamiento multimodalidad y así asegurar la oportunidad del intercambio vital del conocimiento y la experiencia, además de la oportunidad para la creación de redes centradas en iniciativas de investigación y desarrollo que conduzcan a la excelencia en el cuidado de los pacientes.

GMV has attended one of the most international reputation events in aspects of radiation oncology and the multidisciplinary treatment of cancer, ESTRO 35.

During the 29th of April and the 3rd of May, ESTRO (European Society for Radiotherapy & Oncology) interdisciplinary society has organized an event in Turin (Italy) where radiation oncologists, medical physicists, biologists and radiation oncologists have joined forces with other organizations in the field of oncology.

Carlos Illana, radiance GMV Product Manager, showed to the attendees of the event the new version of radiance (v3). The criticism of the experts was very positive about the progress made by GMV in its intraoperative radiotherapy simulator, and many of the medical physicists that were present expressed the necessity and the advantageous that can be the planning of radiance nowadays.

In ESTRO 35 it has been able to prove the collaboration of organizations with other specialists in the field, to engage in multimodality treatment and ensure the opportunity for the vital exchange of knowledge and experience, and the opportunity for creating focused networks research and development initiatives that lead to excellence in patient care.
