University Portal “UAB International Summer School"

GMV has developed for the Autonomous University of Barcelona (Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona: UAB) and Fundació UAB a new web portal “UAB International Summer School” targeted at international students interested in summer courses at a top-quality university. The web portal tells them the syllabi on offer, the subjects covered, and allows them to choose the schedule that best meets their own particular needs.

As well as covering the whole range of courses on offer, the new website also includes an online information application process and pre-enrolment form for each course. It gives all necessary information and explains the advantages of studying in one of Europe’s best universities, UAB, where students can study in a custom-built university campus out in the countryside but only a few minutes from one of the Mediterranean’s most interesting cities, Barcelona.

GMV has developed the web portal within UAB’s Fatwire (now Oracle) content management platform. GMV has been working within a collaboration agreement with UAB since 2004, with a continuous stream of collaboration projects over this period of time. GMV has developed several portals for the university, such as the website “Campus de Excelencia Internacional” (International Excellence campus), the corporate intranet, and a whole host of web services.
