GMV showcases its defense and security solutions at Homsec

11/03/2013
Share

From 12 to 13 March GMV will be running a stand at the International Defense and Security Tradefair, HOMSEC 2013, to be held in Madrid’s Juan Carlos I tradefair site (IFEMA).

GMV’s Homesec stand this year will be displaying its solutions and systems for state security and armed forces: C4ISTAR systems, surveillance, crisis management and monitoring and information security, among others.

GMV will be carrying out a simulation of the command center of the TALOS C4ISTAR system. TALOS is a project for the planning, management and execution of all fire support that might be needed by a brigade: field artillery, mortar fire, naval fire support and air support. The simulation will also take in other command and control and surveillance and reconnaissance systems developed by GMV for the Spanish MoD.

GMV will also be showing its integrated access-control system, with presence detection, surveillance and perimeter control features. It is designed to control and supervise access to different zones of multiple centers, keep a check of employees’ working days and manage integral site security.

GMV’s avionics systems will also be on display, including its participation in the ATLANTE program (development of an unmanned aerial vehicle – UAV – for ISTAR operations). In this latter project GMV is responsible for the flight control computer (FCC), one of the most critical pieces of equipment of the whole project, seeing to the aircraft’s navigation, guidance and control. GMV has also been responsible for the automatic takeoff and landing system (ATOL) of the ground control station.
