The European Space Agency (ESA) has chosen the city of Bilbao to host Space for Inspiration 2018, an international conference for experts and everyone curious about space exploration and why it matters for planet earth. This second conference in the series, to be held from 29 to 31 October, focuses on how space can be a powerful instrument for positive change and new businesses.

Experts in space exploration and technology will present and debate their space innovations. The main themes under discussion will be automation, artificial intelligence, intelligent materials, virtual reality and groundbreaking business models.

During the conference the participating experts will be presenting first-hand case studies, showing how the spinoff results of space research can help to mold everyday life on the strength of new possibilities in engineering, materials, life sciences and the environment.

Attendees will also be able to watch live demos, swap notes and share experiences, creating new international relations between different sectors to drive space exploration onwards and upwards.

GMV will be giving a lecture and running an exhibition area showcasing some of the company’s products.
