Successful INTA certification audit

The National Institute of Aerospace Technology (INTA) certification audit was successfully completed recently for the 2.1.5 software version of the Multi-Function Control and Display (MFCD) unit for both the Multi Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) and future Strategic tanker aircraft (FSTA).

GMV is collaborating with Airbus Military in developing the control software for both systems and was also played a key role in software certification activities under RTCA/DO-178B standard, Software Considerations in Airborne Systems and Equipment Certification.

The Multi-Function Control and Display (MFCD) software is classified as criticality level B.

This is a major milestone for the GMV, culminating our engineers’ sterling work over the last three years in the various Airbus Military Air-to-Air Refuelling programs.
