GMV had a space in the exhibition area, where it shared its contributions to some of the major space missions and programs it develops with ESA.GMV’s booth was also a place for visitors to share their enthusiasm and passion for space, ask questions, and spark curiosity about science and technology, especially among younger visitors.This edition of ESAC Open Day welcomed more than 2,000 visitors and focused on space astronomy and the exploration of the universe. Throughout the day, the GMV team explained how technology, engineering, and innovation are part of many activities that make space exploration possible and help develop new capabilities for the sector. Activities for different age groups also gave visitors a chance to learn firsthand about ESA programs and projects.Through this initiative, ESA introduces the challenges behind its missions and shows how the work of engineers and professionals from different fields helps make them a reality.
