Since its creation in 2005, the GMV-CERT (Computer Emergency Response Team) has provided managed cybersecurity services to public and private organizations in more than 40 countries, protecting critical infrastructure and digital assets against increasingly complex threats. The center in Boecillo (Valladolid) is part of an international network along with Madrid and Bogotá, where more than 130 specialized professionals work under the highest standards of quality, security, and service continuity. The GMV-CERT offers a comprehensive, 360° managed information security service, operating 24/7, that combines reactive services (incident management, vulnerability assessment, and forensics) with proactive services (audits, penetration testing, threat intelligence, threat hunting, and advanced counterintelligence). Among its capabilities, the use of proprietary technology stands out, such as Gestvul, comprehensive vulnerability management tool, and its integration into national networks, such as the National network of SOCs and international networks such as FIRST, which guarantee global cooperation in incident response. Investing in the RegionGMV's commitment to Castile and León is reflected in its continued investment in infrastructure and talent in Valladolid, where advanced digital detection and defense technologies are being developed. This center not only strengthens the response capacity to cyber threats but also drives the creation of high-value-added jobs, with highly qualified professionals in engineering, forensics, threat intelligence, and security software development. These are quality jobs, with 80% in engineering roles and 99% with permanent contracts.
