Growth, responsibility, excellence and opportunity: CREO

The CEO of GMV, Jesús B. Serrano, took part in the third edition of the CREO Forum, held on October 14 and 15 and organized by the business newspaper Cinco Días.

This year, the event focused on competitiveness, innovation, and the Spanish ecosystem’s ability to adapt to an environment that calls for driving growth and strengthening the foundations of the economy. Spain’s Second Deputy Prime Minister, Yolanda Díaz, along with institutional representatives and business leaders, shared their vision for the future and the strategies that will shape the course of the productive sector.

GMV was one of the featured participants in the session on defense, security, and strategic autonomy. In his remarks, Serrano noted that strategic autonomy poses significant challenges for Spain’s economic future and security. To address them, he highlighted technological development and business competitiveness, regardless of company size, as well as collaboration across industries as key factors in advancing major programs.

Tourism, transportation, and infrastructure also featured in the forum’s discussions. The forum is establishing itself as one of the leading venues for reflection on Spain’s economic development.
