VI Congreso Jurídico Espacial

GMV took part in the 6th Space Law Congress, held on October 1 and 2 in Tres Cantos, Madrid. The congress was organized by the Spanish Association of Aeronautical and Space Law (AEDAE) in collaboration with Tres Cantos City Council.

The extensive program was structured around eight panel discussions, bringing together prominent representatives from national and international organizations across the diplomatic, legal, scientific, and business communities. Participants included professionals from the Spanish Space Agency (AEE), the European Space Agency (ESA), the Spanish Space Command (MESPA), and ENAIRE, alongside members of leading aerospace companies.

On the first day, Alberto Águeda, Space Surveillance and Traffic Management Director at GMV’s EST Space Systems, spoke on a panel dedicated to space debris and reentry. The discussion covered issues including orbital fragmentation and developments in scientific and regulatory standards.

On the second day, Miguel A. Molina, Deputy CEO of EST Space Systems, joined a panel focused on Tres Cantos as a strategic hub for the space industry and the outlook for its business ecosystem. The municipality is home to a significant concentration of aerospace companies, including GMV’s headquarters.

GMV’s involvement in the congress is another example of its role in addressing operational and regulatory challenges and supporting the aerospace business ecosystem.
