Organized by Novaspace, the event brought together representatives from across the space value chain, including satellite operators, manufacturers, investors, space agencies, government bodies, service providers, and technology companies.In addition to sponsoring the conference, GMV exhibited at a booth showcasing its space-sector capabilities and solutions, underscoring its commitment to innovation and to developing technologies for a safer, more efficient, and more sustainable industry. Enrique Fraga, General Manager of Space Systems EST at GMV, spoke on the panel “Managing Critical Ground Infrastructure in Contested Environments”, which examined the challenges of protecting and managing critical ground infrastructure in increasingly complex and demanding operating environments. Miguel Ángel Molina, Deputy General Manager of Space Systems EST at GMV, also joined the roundtable “Space Domain Awareness in the Era of Mega-constellation”, part of the dedicated defense and security sessions held during WSBW. Among other topics, he stressed the need for greater interoperability across systems and for shorter development timelines for mission-critical defense and security systems.Beyond its role in the program, GMV used its presence at WSBW to bring together clients and industry professionals at a cocktail reception. The relaxed setting offered a chance to share perspectives on where the space industry is headed, exchange ideas, and deepen ties with the company’s clients and partners, reinforcing relationships that help open the door to new opportunities for collaboration.
