GMV Strengthens Its Presence in the Polish Space Ecosystem at the “Space Sector Forum 2026”

GMV participated in the “Space Sector Forum 2026,” one of the leading events in Poland’s space industry, held on June 24 at the Poznań International Fair. The forum brought together representatives from industry, government agencies, research centers, universities, and space agencies to discuss the sector's main challenges and opportunities. 

During the event, GMV had an exhibition space where it showcased some of its solutions for the space sector, including Sextans GMV^®, a software-defined GNSS receiver that provides accurate positioning, velocity, and timing information for a wide range of space applications. 

The event also provided an opportunity to hold meetings with representatives from industry and various institutions, fostering the exchange of knowledge and the identification of new opportunities for collaboration in the European space sector. 

During the forum, the winners of the “Polish Space Fellowship Program” were also announced. This internship program, in which GMV participates as a partner company, aims to drive recruitment of new talent in the space sector. As a result of this initiative, one of the selected students will complete a five-month internship at GMV's headquarters in Poland. 

The fifth edition of the “Space Sector Forum” focused its program on issues such as dual-use technologies, European space cooperation, security and defense, the development of industrial capabilities, technological innovation, and opportunities related to European Space Agency (ESA) programs. With more than 400 participants and 40 exhibitors, the event has established itself as one of the leading gatherings in the Polish space ecosystem.
