GMV strengthens its position in Latin America at ANDICOM 2026

GMV took part in ANDICOM 2026, one of Latin America’s leading business and technology conferences, held from September 1 to 4 in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia.

Under the theme “Unleashing the Power of AI,” the event brought together more than 6,500 attendees and over 200 technology companies to foster innovation and digital transformation and create new business opportunities across the region.

The European Union participated in this year’s event as Guest of Honor, contributing to discussions on digital regulation and cooperation between Europe and Latin America. The EU delegation included François Roudié, EU Ambassador to Colombia, and members of his team.

The Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade (ICEX), together with the Spanish Economic and Commercial Office in Bogotá, organized a trade mission for Spanish companies specializing in digitalization services, aimed at expanding the presence of Spanish technology in one of Latin America’s highest-growth-potential markets.

As a Spanish company with a well-established history in Colombia and the Andean region, GMV shared its experience in developing and deploying innovative technology solutions across strategic sectors.

GMV’s participation in the conference provided an opportunity to strengthen its position in the Latin American market; forge new strategic partnerships with operators, technology partners, customers, and public institutions; and contribute to initiatives that are advancing digitalization and competitiveness across the region.
