This is Europe’s most important event focused exclusively on cybersecurity in the space industry. It brings together experts from the space and cybersecurity industries, to address the current and future challenges associated with protecting space-related assets and data.This year’s gathering featured a schedule with keynote speeches, panel discussions, and technical demonstrations, where the attendees were able to explore emerging trends in security for space applications. GMV had its own stand at the event, where it showcased some of its latest developments in cybersecurity applied to the space industry, as another demonstration of its commitment to space security. One of the highlights of GMV’s participation was the talk given by Mariano J. Benito, the company’s CyberSecurity & Privacy Ambassador, entitled “How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love CRA”. In this presentation, Benito discussed the impact of the European Union’s Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) on the aerospace industry. The aim of this legislation is to strengthen the security of digital products, with security from the time of their design and throughout their entire life cycle.During his talk, GMV’s representative stressed the importance of ensuring that the aerospace industry will start implementing the requirements from the CRA as soon as possible. This includes new technical standards on management, notification, and resolution of vulnerabilities; redefined roles in the supply chain; and the need for digital resilience as a strategic pillar of European technological sovereignty.GMV’s presence at CYSAT 2025 has further solidified the company’s leadership in the industry, and its role as an important developer of technologies designed to guarantee the security and sustainability of space operations.
