GMV rewards MAPFRE’s security governance work

In the framework of the National Conference of IT Auditing, Security and Governance “Internet of Things – ISACA of Things” organized by the Valencia ISACA chapter, GMV has recognized MAPFRE’s security governance work. Guillermo Llorente, Mapfre’s General Subdirector of Security and the Environment received the award from Luis Fernando Álvarez-Gascón, General Director of GMV Secure e-Solutions.

With this award GMV recognizes “Mapfre’s ongoing commitment to the security of its systems, setting up such measures as an integral security policy that guarantees its business continuity and protection”. This unflinching pledge to security makes Mapfre a worldwide beacon, rolling out its security policies in all the 49 countries it trades in. For his part, Guillermo Llorente, upon receiving the award, reiterated Mapfre’s innovation-driven outlook, allying itself with tried and tested partners to assure its information and taking up state-of-the-art technology and emerging practices.
