UNVEX held its tenth edition on September 16 and 17 at the former San Javier Civil Airport in Murcia, where it brought together companies, government agencies, armed forces, technology centers, and experts to explore new developments and challenges in the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) space.

GMV took part as an Extreme Sponsor, showcasing its leading technology solutions for unmanned systems designed to meet the needs of increasingly autonomous, connected, and demanding operational environments.

New solutions on display included Nerva, a resilient navigation system for unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) developed specifically for SIRTAP; ARGUS, a command and control suite for unmanned vehicles; and a capability integrating fixed-wing UAS with the Talos artillery system and Dual-EIMOS mortars.

The event once again proved to be a key gathering for the European UAV sector, with a program of professional conferences, an exhibition area, and live demonstrations covering fields such as defence and security, emergency response, critical operations, artificial intelligence, autonomy, and counter-drone technologies.

At its stand in the exhibition area, GMV welcomed a number of senior officials interested in learning more about its technology, including Fernando López Miras, President of the Region of Murcia; Admiral Aniceto Rosique Nieto, Director General of DGAM; Lieutenant General Miguel Ivorra Ruiz, Director General of DIGEID; Brigadier General Vicente Torres, Deputy Director General for Defence Industrial Strategy; Héctor Casado López, Deputy to the Director General of DIGEID; Major General Miguel Ángel Orduña Rodríguez, Head of the Plans Division of the Spanish Air and Space Force; and Major General Luis Sanz Muñoz, Director of Procurement at DIAD-MALE.

GMV addressed the challenges associated with the evolution of unmanned systems through solutions focused on three key capabilities: range, resilient navigation, and command and control, with applications in defence, security, and critical operations.
