ISSF 2026

GMV took part in the 30th International Symposium on Space Flight Dynamics (ISSFD), held from June 1 to 5 at the La Cité Congress Center in Toulouse, France. Organized this year by the French Space Agency (Centre National d’Études Spatiales, CNES), the symposium brought together specialists, space agencies, operations centers, companies, and members of the international scientific community involved in the field of space flight dynamics.

Widely regarded as one of the sector’s premier technical gatherings, ISSFD covers key disciplines including orbital dynamics, trajectory design, autonomous navigation, attitude control, flight operations, space risk mitigation, and systems for guidance, navigation, and control (GNC). The focus this year was on lunar exploration programs, planetary defense, and asteroid exploration.

As part of the symposium’s institutional program, Jaime Fernández Sánchez, Head of the Institutional Flight Dynamics Unit within GMV’s EST Space Systems Division, represented the company during the event’s welcome session. In his remarks, he highlighted GMV’s growth over its 42-year history, from a one-person startup to a multinational company with nearly 4,000 employees, as well as its emergence as one of the world’s leading providers of flight dynamics systems.

GMV was also present in the exhibition area, where it showcased its capabilities and advanced solutions in flight dynamics, navigation, and space operations, further strengthening its position as a trusted technology partner for the international space industry.
