STM 2022

GMV is participating in the “8th Annual Space Traffic Management Conference”, the annual space traffic management event organized by the Space Security, Safety and Sustainability Program at the Strauss Center and the University of Texas at Austin Cockrell School of Engineering, in collaboration with the International Academy of Astronautics (IAA) and Privatter. The theme for this year is the “Anthropogenic Environmental Impact and Assessment of Space Traffic on Space Operations and Implications for Climate Change Monitoring.”, and it will take place on March 2 and 3, in a hybrid format.

The technical sessions will focus on a number of topics, such as scope management, integrating airspace with orbital space, space security and sustainability, surveillance, effects and impacts on space environment and other related issues.

Marius Stanciu-Manolescu, GMV Space EUSTM Project Coordinator, will take part in session 5 "Various STM Community Inputs and Caveats”.
