Smart Energy Congress 2021

The 9th edition of the Smart Energy Congress &EXPO, a leading event in Spain in terms of energy efficiency, sustainability and climate change, organized by enerTIC at the Palacio Municipal de Congresos in Madrid in an on-site format.

This year’s slogan, “Technology for a green and digital revolution” gives an idea of the current situation that companies and public administrations are experiencing, with sustainability goals (EU Horizon 2030 and UN SDGs) in their agendas. In the last year, digitization has accelerated, which has led to improvements in energy efficiency and sustainability. In addition, the Next Generation EU recovery funds and the Spanish Government’s Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, approved by Europe, require significant investment in sustainability and efficiency projects.

At this event, GMV Secure e-Solutions Industry Sector Director Miguel Hormigo is taking part in the Technological Vision Auditorium with a presentation on mobile robotics and Artificial Intelligence as sustainability-oriented technologies and solutions. In this presentation we will discuss technologies related to autonomous robotics: precise positioning, robot sensor technology, autonomous navigation and artificial intelligence for decision making. These systems are oriented towards solutions for the Agriculture, Logistics, Transportation, Industry in general and Smart Cities sectors.
