Munich Satellite Navigation Summit

"GNSS – Empowering Mobility for Air, Land, Sea… and Beyond” will be the theme of this latest edition of the Munich Satellite Navigation Summit. This is a conference with a global impact, where GMV will be attending as a sponsor. The event will take place on March 13‑15, at the Alte Kongresshalle event center in Munich, Germany.

The Munich Satellite Navigation Summit is an event with a worldwide scope, focused on current and future developments in the area of satellite navigation. This convention is unique in its field, and it features a schedule of top‑level presenters from around the world, representing industry, science, and government. They will offer the participants a broad global vision, as well as a wide range of individual perspectives, on the latest advances in the field of global navigation satellite systems (GNSS).

The following specific subjects will be addressed: 

• First and Second Generations of Europe’s Galileo Satellite Navigation System
• Modernization of the U.S. Global Positioning System (GPS) 
• Status and Modernization of the Chinese Beidou System (BDS) 
• Development of Regional Systems such as the Japanese QZSS and Indian IRNSS 
• Navigation and the Green Deal 
• Solutions for High Accuracy Applications 
• Secure Navigation with Authentication and Sensor Fusion 
• Civil Use of the Galileo Public Regulated Service (PRS) 
• New Technologies and Frontiers of Navigation (from Quantum Sensors to Navigation on the Moon)

Organized by the government of Bavaria and the aerospace and satellite navigation cluster, this event represents an effort to stimulate the advancement of applications and services in this important high‑tech field.

GMV will have it is own stand, where it will be showcasing its space-related products and services.
