Madrid Tech Show / Cyber Security World Madrid

The 5th edition of the Madrid Tech Show will take place on October 29th and 30th at the city’s IFEMA Trade Fair Complex. This one of Spain’s largest technology events, and it brings together companies and professionals to learn about the latest trends in fields such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, big data, data center infrastructure, e-commerce, and digital marketing.

As part of this event, GMV will be participating in the specialized cybersecurity space known as Cyber Security World Madrid. There, on October 29th, GMV’s Cybersecurity & Privacy Ambassador, Mariano J. Benito, will be participating in a roundtable discussion entitled “Transposition of the NIS2 Directive: Operational Challenges and Tools”, organized by ISMS Forum. He will be joined by Beatriz García from ISMS Forum and Firas Atassi from SEUR.

This panel will be discussing some of the challenges and opportunities related to transposition of the European Union’s NIS2 Directive into Spanish law, with a focus on the various resources offered in the NIS2 Kit developed by ISMS Forum. These include the Handbook on the draft legislation for transposing the Directive, the company identification form, and the template for the standardized supply chain questionnaire.

GMV’s participation in this event is a further demonstration of its commitment to cybersecurity, digital resilience, and industry collaboration for strengthening the protection of critical infrastructure and essential services.
