CapTech Space

GMV will be participating in the third meeting of CapTech Space, an event organized by the European Defence Agency that will be taking place from 28 to 30 November, hosted by the EDA’s Spanish counterpart.

The CapTech community is made up of over 350 experts from participating Member States (pMS), industry, and academia. It meets at least three times a year with the goal of facilitating research, innovation, and technology development such that the EU can deploy, operate, and benefit from defense space capabilities.

During the event, the European defense R&D agenda will be discussed, and progress will be made in defining some of the projects implementing this agenda.

The meeting coincides with the recent publication of the conclusions of the Council of the European Union (13/11), chaired by Spain, on the space strategy for security and defense. These conclusions were approved by the European Parliament in support of this strategy.
