AMOS Conference 2026

GMV will be participating in the 27^th edition of the AMOS Conference (Advanced Maui Optical and Space Surveillance Technologies), taking place from 15–18 September in Maui, Hawaii, the United States.

Organized by the Maui Economic Development Board (MEDB), AMOS is considered the leading technical conference in the United States for space situational awareness (SSA) and space domain awareness (SDA), bringing together representatives from industry, government agencies, armed forces, research centers, and universities from around the world.

The program includes talks, forums on space policy, technical sessions, specialized courses, and a large exhibition area, making it one of the leading international forums for discussing technological breakthroughs and the challenges associated with space surveillance, the sustainability of the orbital environment, and the safety of space operations.

GMV will have a stand in the AMOS 2026 exhibition area and will present two virtual posters:

• “Storm-proofing LEO Cataloguing: Operational Mitigation of Space Weather-Driven Drag Uncertainty,” presented by Alejandro Pastor Rodríguez, head of SST and STM at GMV in Germany.

• “Quasi-Real-Time Detection and Characterization of Uncooperative Launches Using Optimized Sensor Networks and Boost-Phase Trajectory Estimation,” presented by Jack McHugh, a SST and flight dynamics engineer at GMV.

During the event, the GMV team will hold meetings with space agencies, government organizations, companies, and research centers to strengthen international collaboration and explore new opportunities in the space sector.
