Under the theme “Want to Know More. Want to Know Better,” the 36th Securmática Global Cybersecurity, Information Security and Privacy Congress, organized by SIC magazine, will take place in Madrid from October 6 to 8.

The event will bring together CISOs from some of Spain’s top companies and their trusted technology providers to showcase some of the most innovative cybersecurity initiatives currently underway.

This year, GMV will join the Castilla y León Health Service (SACYL) to present their joint work on a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy for public healthcare focused on safeguarding clinical environments.

Inés de Lózar, Head of the Cybersecurity Operations Center at the Castilla y León Regional Health Management Authority, and Estrella Alfageme, Principal Cybersecurity Analyst at GMV, will present the results of this successful collaboration. The initiative includes the deployment of a secure access service edge (SASE) architecture providing secure corporate proxy, access control, web browsing protection, and traffic monitoring capabilities; the implementation of endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions to handle threats affecting workstations and servers; and continuous monitoring of medical devices, clinical assets, and healthcare networks using security technologies specifically designed for Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) and operational technology (OT) environments.
