Transladem Demand-response transport
GMV’s inhouse demand-response systems boost the efficiency and profitability of public transport while also offering greater flexibility to passengers. Transport services are now bespoke: would-be passengers simply make a free phone call and the vehicles then stop only at those points where a service request has been made.
Solutions of this type are chosen by transport operators and authorities that need to provide a service in areas of low population density and sporadic demand or for passengers with special needs (a service also known as paratransit). Demand-response transport systems can be fitted and run independently or grafted onto other fleet management systems (SAE) or Electronic fare-collection systems.
