Description

We at GMV are looking for an engineer to join a team working on the development and maintenance of GNSS systems (in real time and critical systems). 
The successful applicant will take part in all development phases (requirement analysis, prototyping, design and implementation, testing, validation, industrialization, maintenance and obsolescence).
The main tasks are:

  • Assessment and selection of cradles (hardware and software) to solve problems or provide a better design for our operating systems
  • Liaison with providers for the procurement and management of repair activities
  • Design of electronic equipment (hardware and software), mainly for real time critical systems
  • Communication buses
  • CE marking
  • Industrialization
  • Obsolescence management throughout the whole equipment lifecycle
  • Inventory control
  • Responsibility for repair and maintenance activities

Requirements

- Qualification: IT or telecommunications engineer (specializing in electronics) or post-baccalaureate vocational training in electronics.
- Level of English: Intermediate
- Technical knowledge: 

  • Electronics (analog, digital, microprocessors)
  • C/C++
  • Hardware integration, physical validation of electromagnetic compatibility
  • Linux

- Desirable knowledge:

  • Critical systems calling for real time capabilities
  • MS Office
  • C or C++ programming
  • DOORS for requirement management
