Northeast Zone Business Development Manager

Description

In charge of running business in the northeast of Spain (Catalonia, Aragón, Levante (Valencia and Murcia) mainly:

  • Draw up and run a business develop strategy, in keeping with corporate objectives.
  • Winning new industrial clients, mainly in the automotive, chemical and food sectors (in Catalonia), automotive and accessory industry (Aragón) and ceramics and agro-food (Eastern seaboard).
  • Commercial development for swelling the current industrial client base.
  • Achieving economic contract-winning objectives.
  • Building up business in high added-value technologies related to the industry-4.0 and digital-transformation strategy, taking in three main lines:
    • Cybersecurity: consultancy, auditing, infrastructure and technical controls.
    • System integration: ICT and IoT infrastructure, cloud infrastructure technology and industrial facilities with a high ICT component.
    • Industrial automation: Software development, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Artificial Vision, collaborative robotics.
  • Contribute to the active search for synergies between different areas within GMV’s corporate structure.
  • Build up relations and business with GMV’s longstanding partners and new ones in the industrial sector.
  • Establish the necessary relations for pre-set strategy development (relations with technological business partners, organizations, associations, clients and competition, collaboration permitting).
  • Contribute actively to the positioning of GMV’s brand in the industrial sector as a technology partner in high added-value projects.

Requirements

- Qualification: 5-year Industrial Engineering degree or similar
- Level of English: Intermediate
- Technical knowledge:

  • Experience in industrial business development related to ICT, industrial automation, process- and system-engineering.
  • Proven ICT prowess, mainly in cybersecurity (audits, consultancy and checks), system integration (datacenters, infrastructure, cloud) and software development (architectures, agile methodologies)

- Desirable knowledge:

  • Expertise and experience in business-development, commercial plans, client portfolio management, economic management of client billing and contracting, generation of ideas and innovation (client development proposals, application of technology to new markets)
  • Team management expertise and experience: management, task coordination, career management, motivation, client orientation, etc.
  • Expertise and experience in relation to partners, bid management, pre-sales, contract management and commercial project monitoring.
